For Richmond Hill families

Richmond Hill households often include several generations under one roof. Parents may want routine cleanings, a teen may be thinking about clear aligners, and a grandparent may need a missing tooth replaced. We can talk through all of it. Dr. Kourosh Rahimi, whose training focuses on implant dentistry, can explain whether an implant is a good fit after an exam and 3D imaging. Dr. Bita Tahghighi has advanced training in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, if a chipped or stained front tooth bothers you. If someone in the family feels uneasy about dental visits, tell us when you book. We explain each step and can stop whenever they need a break. Sedation options are available for some treatments, and your dentist will talk through what suits you.

Questions from Richmond Hill

There are Richmond Hill dentists close to me. Why come to Aurora?

You don't have to. Many people choose a clinic close to home, and that makes sense. Patients who come to us from Richmond Hill usually mention our Saturday and evening hours, the languages our team speaks, or simply that Aurora is on their way to work or family.

Is Bayview Avenue or Highway 404 better from Bayview and 16th?

Bayview Avenue is usually simplest, since it leads straight to our corner at Wellington Street East. Highway 404 can be quicker outside rush hour, but you will exit at Wellington and drive back west to Bayview.

Can I take Viva from Major Mackenzie?

Yes. Viva Blue runs north on Yonge Street from Major Mackenzie and Elgin Mills into Aurora. At the Wellington stop, switch to a YRT bus going east along Wellington Street. Check the YRT trip planner for current times.

I'm thinking about an implant. What happens at the first visit?

Your dentist examines the area, reviews your health history and takes the imaging needed to check the bone. You then hear your options, which may include an implant, a bridge or a partial denture, along with a written estimate. Nothing is booked until you decide.

What if my face swells up at night?

Call 289-475-5497 and follow the instructions on our line if we're closed. If swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department, such as Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.
