Dr. Bita Tahghighi
Dr. Bita Tahghighi is a highly experienced cosmetic dentistry specialist with 27 years of clinical and academic expertise. She holds a specialization in Cosmetic Dentistry from Iran, has earned a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from Germany, and a Fellowship in Aesthetic Dentistry from UCLA.
She has served as a faculty member at the University of Toronto, and has obtained her dentist license in Canada after successfully passing the national exams. Renowned for her skills in teeth whitening and smile transformations, she combines advanced techniques with decades of experience to create natural, confident smiles for her patients.

Dr. Naz Zamanian, DDS
Dr. Naz Zamanian was born and raised in Iran, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Tehran Azad University. Following her passion for dentistry and academic excellence, she moved to the United States and obtained her second DDS from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating with honors.
During her time at UOP, Dr. Zamanian was selected as a fellow for the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADCFP), where she further explored her interests in education and mentorship.
Dr. Zamanian is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She takes pride in building strong relationships with her patients, making them feel comfortable and understood every step of the way.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, traveling with her husband, and getting lost in a good mystery or detective novel.

Dr. Ali Karimi, DDS
Dr. Ali Karimi brings a diverse international background in dentistry, combining advanced clinical training, academic experience, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dentistry. His pursuit of continued growth later brought him to the United States, where he completed a preceptorship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), followed by earning his second DDS degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr. Karimi’s passion for dentistry extends beyond clinical practice into dental education. He has served as an instructor in the Prosthodontics Department at the University of Toronto, an experience that further strengthened his appreciation for precision, evidence-based dentistry, and lifelong learning.
In practice, Dr. Karimi is dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. He values building genuine relationships with his patients and believes that creating a comfortable and trusting environment is essential for delivering an exceptional dental experience.
Outside the office, Dr. Karimi enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with his family and his dog.

Dr. Farhad Sobouti, DDS
Dr. Farhad Sobouti, DDS, MSc, FRCDC, is a board-certified orthodontist, educator, researcher, and clinical supervisor at the University of Toronto. With more than 14 years of clinical and academic experience, he has treated over 7,800 patients across a wide range of orthodontic needs, including growth modification, clear aligner therapy, Braces, surgical orthodontics, cleft lip and palate and syndromic cases, and interdisciplinary care.
Dr. Sobouti earned his DDS from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and his MSc in Orthodontics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He later completed advanced training in laser dentistry at the University of Genoa and obtained Canadian board certification in orthodontics through the University of Toronto. His professional interests include digital orthodontics, clear aligner treatment, and evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Previously, Dr. Sobouti served as an Associate Professor, Vice Dean of Education and Research, and founder of the Dental Research Center at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. He is an accomplished scholar with an extensive record of peer-reviewed publications and academic contributions.
Outside the clinic and classroom, Dr. Sobouti brings the same discipline and team spirit to sport. He was a member of Iran’s national swimming team and remains an enthusiastic fan of soccer and basketball.

Dr. Kourosh Rahimi, DD

With 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kourosh Rahimi is committed to providing exceptional dental care, with a special interest in implant dentistry and dental and gum surgery. Since earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1996, he has cared for thousands of patients, helping them restore their oral health, function, and confidence through comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.
Over the course of his 30-year clinical career, primarily in Iran, Dr. Rahimi has placed more than 5,000 dental implants, reflecting decades of extensive surgical experience in implant dentistry. His expertise ranges from single-tooth replacement to full-mouth implant rehabilitation, with an emphasis on precise treatment planning, long-term function, natural esthetics, and predictable clinical outcomes.
Committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, Dr. Rahimi completed the UCLA Master Program in Implant Dentistry in 2011. He further advanced his expertise by earning the prestigious Fellowship (FICOI), Mastership (MICOI), and Diplomate (DICOI) credentials from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
After relocating to Canada, Dr. Rahimi successfully completed all National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) examinations and became licensed to practise dentistry in Ontario in 2025. He currently practises at Cawthra Dental, where he is known for his gentle approach, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Dr. Rahimi’s dedication to excellence has been recognized with the Best Dentist Award from the Iranian Medical Council in 2010 and 2016. He believes that exceptional dentistry is built on trust, clear communication, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to each patient’s long-term oral health. His philosophy is simple: every patient deserves honest advice, individualized treatment, and the highest standard of care.
