Dentist

Dr. Bita Tahghighi

Dr. Bita Tahghighi is a highly experienced cosmetic dentistry specialist with 27 years of clinical and academic expertise. She holds a specialization in Cosmetic Dentistry from Iran, has earned a Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from Germany, and a Fellowship in Aesthetic Dentistry from UCLA.

She has served as a faculty member at the University of Toronto, and has obtained her dentist license in Canada after successfully passing the national exams. Renowned for her skills in teeth whitening and smile transformations, she combines advanced techniques with decades of experience to create natural, confident smiles for her patients.

Dr. Sobouti

Dr. Sobouti earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2009 and graduated as the top student in his class. He was then admitted directly into the Orthodontic Specialty Program at TUMS, one of Iran’s most respected orthodontic institutions. After passing the National Orthodontic Board Exam in 2012, he built a successful private practice and treated more than 7,000 patients.

He has also held academic leadership roles at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, including Head of the Orthodontic Department. Dr. Sobouti has supervised over 55 theses and published more than 75 research papers in respected orthodontic journals.

After moving to Canada with his wife, Sepideh, who is also an orthodontist, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Specialists of Canada and a certified member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He also teaches at the University of Toronto.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sobouti is a former member of the Iranian Youth National Swimming Team and still enjoys training in his spare time. He is also a passionate soccer fan, so mentioning the sport may lead to a lively conversation.
